Training

The NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Use is dedicated to building research capacity in the area of comorbidity, and represents a unique opportunity for students and clinicians interested in pursuing research across the areas of mental health and drug and alcohol disorders. In particular, our focus is on providing high quality supervision to postgraduate research students undertaking Masters and PhD degrees and training to post-doctoral researchers.

If you are interested in undertaking further post-graduate training with us, you will find more information below. We also invite you to view the profiles of our academic staff to find a supervisor or read more about the current research and projects happening in our research streams.

More broadly, the CRE is committed to making the latest research in comorbidity accessible to the wider community. Our webinar series runs throughout the year and is open to clinicians, allied health professionals, teachers, consumers, carers, and anyone with an interest in issues related to mental health and substance use.
