Emily is a registered Psychologist who joined the RADAR team in April to assist with the assessment of problematic alcohol use in adolescents and young adults across Australia. She holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class 1) from UNSW, with her research focuses including processes underpinning Depression and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Prior to joining the RADAR team Emily has assisted with a number of research projects at NDARC, including: conducting standardised assessments of alcohol use and associated harms in at-risk adolescents for the Young Australians Alcohol Reporting System (YAARS) study; delivering financial counselling to participants in a randomised control trial examining the efficacy of smoking cessation strategies in low socio-economic status smokers; and providing research assistance on a 5-year longitudinal study investigating the parental supply of alcohol among nearly 2,000 families across Australia.

When she is not at NDARC Emily works as a Child and Adolescent Psychologist in a number of clinics across Sydney, including the Black Dog Institute Psychology Clinic and the UTS Health Psychology Unit.
