Briana joined NDARC in late 2016 after completing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. Her honours thesis examined the role of semantics and phonology within verbal short-term memory. Prior to starting at NDARC, Briana was involved in a range of research projects with the neuropsychology team at the University of New South Wales and the cognition team at the University of Wollongong.
Briana is currently working as a Research Assistant on the Positive Choices project with the Centre for Research Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Use prevention team. Specifically, she will help in developing culturally appropriate drug-prevention resources for young Indigenous Australians.
