Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Natalie Peach joined NDARC in 2018 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. She currently works as the Project Coordinator on the COPE-A clinical trial, investigating the efficacy of integrated exposure-based therapy for co-occurring post-traumatic stress and substance use disorders in adolescents. She has recently completed a combined Masters/PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Melbourne and Orygen Youth Health. Her PhD focused on phenomenological relationships between childhood trauma, PTSD symptoms and psychotic symptoms in young people with early psychosis.

Natalie’s research and clinical interests include early interventions in youth mental health, treatments for young people who have experienced trauma, and links between symptoms of traumatic stress and other mental health conditions such as psychosis and substance use.
