Dr Kirsten Morley is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Discipline of Addiction Medicine, The University of Sydney. She has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), a Masters of Public Health, and a PhD in Psychopharmacology. She coordinates the Sydney Alcohol Treatment Group based at Drug Health Services, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She conducts clinical research in the efficacy and bio-behavioural basis of treatments for alcohol dependence and associated comorbidities (such as liver disease, suicide risk and sleep disturbances). Dr Morley has expertise in the coordination of large multi-site randomised controlled trials and has published in psychopharmacology, pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy of substance use and mental health.
