The webinar will focus on screening and assessment to identify mental health conditions, also highlighting the importance of conducting broader needs assessments in terms of other health, medical and welfare issues that may be faced by the patient/client. It will include discussion of both structured and unstructured assessment techniques, issues relating to the timing of assessments, differences between substance-induced and independent mental disorders, and the importance of engaging with other service types/providers to meet various patient/client needs.
